I always want to tell them that their worst day with Jesus is better than their best day with the devil. “Therefore if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” [2Cor. 5:17]. The hard part is when a person tries to live in both worlds.

Lot’s wife apparently wanted to live in both worlds. She wanted to go with her husband and daughters, likely for fire insurance, yet she longed for the life they had been living in Sodom and Gomorra. Many people today want to claim the name of Christianity for fire insurance, yet continue to live their life in their own fashion. They are weighted down with guilt and shame, knowing what they are doing is wrong or they are totally deceived, believing a doctrine that they can live anyway they want to and God in His grace will wink at their sinful nature. In that case , they do not understand the grace of God. The grace of God helps us to avoid sin. This is what causes Christianity to be easy and not burdensome.

My purse is about the right size to carry the things I might want for my daily needs. Sometimes unaware I add things to it for only a moment, thinking I will remove them when I get home. After a span of time, the purse becomes heavy laden with things not necessary to live. It is a burden to carry. God makes us just the right size to carry what He has called us to do. Sometimes we take on responsibilities and extras He did not intend us to carry. They may be basically good things, yet they become burdensome, because they are not what God called us to do. The Bible talks about dead works, anything that is not energized by God is dead works, making them hard to carry. As I have to stop and unload my purse of unnecessary things, so do we have to stop and take inventory of our lives, setting priorities. Unload the unnecessary.

We have been farmers all our lives. When a plow is loaded down with dirt and weeds, it caused the tractor to slow down. Not only slow things down, but all that trash will drag through and destroy all it passes over. The farmer has to climb down off his high tractor and clean off all the plows. I have seen people who mean well, go through life carrying past baggage, destroying everything they touch, blaming others. Sometimes, we as Christians have to climb down off our high place and get rid of the trash that holds us back from producing the crop that is intended for us. “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning”[Ps. 30:5].

Happiness is a feeling and circumstances can affect our happiness but Joy is a decision, we choose to be joyful or sad. “The Joy of the Lord is our strength.” [Nehemiah 8:10]. Even in the worst of situations we can still have the Joy of The Lord. We can be strong in Him and the Power of His might. Walking with Him is a choice “For this is the Love of God, that we keep His commandments: and His commandments are not Burdensome” [1 John 5:3]. Once we make up our mind to go all the way with Jesus, “Christianity Is Not Burdensome!”

God always helps us live a fulfilled life if we just listen to Him.

“Why do nations rage, and the people plot in vain? The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the Lord and against His anointed one. Let’s break their Chains, they say, and throw off all their fetters. The one enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them. [Ps. 2:1-5]. Seems like everywhere we look and what we hear is trying to stop the things of God. Each time we allow them another victory, they start working on something else. A philosopher once said, “Bad things happen because good men do nothing.” They may win some victories in man’s laws, but what makes me so sad, is their loss in eternity. “And the Lord said, My Spirit Shall not always strive with man, for that he is also flesh” [Gen.6:3 KJV]. Many refuse to look at God from both sides. “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today and forever” [Heb.13:8]. Jesus said, “If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father.” God is a God of Love, but He is also a God of Judgement. He said “I am the Lord Thy God and I change not”

God said “If you had responded to my rebuke, I would have poured out My heart to you and made My thoughts known to you. But since you rejected me when I called and no one gave heed when I stretched out my hand, since you ignored all my advice and would not accept my rebuke, I in turn will laugh at your disaster; I will mock when calamity overtakes you—when calamity overtakes you like a storm,” [Prov. 1:23-27]. This passage goes on to even more, but the good thing is “But whoever listens to me will live in safety, and be at ease, without fear of harm. [v.33]. This is how I know even when things get bad, God will take care of His own. Even if we are beheaded, by our enemy, it just sends us on a trip to Jesus sooner!

Listen to this “The Lord shall Laugh at him: For He sees that his day is coming. The wicked have drawn out a sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation [Ps 37:13-14]. The wicked wants to make the poor even poorer as they lie to get votes. Unsaved people easily lie! Read the history of all the other nations that expected the government to meet all their needs. Real Poverty hit. Only The God in Heaven can meet our needs and He has expectations of us. He Said Those that don’t work, don’t eat. That and that alone would keep our nation going forward. He never expected 30% of the people to work and feed clothe and house the other 70%. The Government has no money of its own. Those who work and pay taxes are the ones that keep the Government in money. “Depart from evil and do good; and dwell forevermore” [ v.27]. The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein forever” [V.29]. Very soon now The Lord is coming back to receive His own unto Himself. He is coming for those who are “Looking for Him.” Are you ready?

We are not just talking about knowing and believing there is a God in Heaven, the creator of all things, but do you know Him. He said, “My sheep hear my voice.” We must accept what Jesus did for us, invite Him into our heart and confess it to mankind. Confession is made into salvation [Rom.10:9-10]. Make sure, be sorry for all your sins. Live for Him every day. Because of our foolishness, we don’t want to hear “God Laugh”!

One of the things that has bothered me more than anything else, is when I hear people blame God for whatever is wrong. One incident in particular, was a young man in a large town I had been called in to for a speaking engagement. My car broke down and after the repair; a young man took me for a test drive to show me the car was fixed. Christianity was brought up, and the young man sneered saying, “I don’t want anything to do with God.” Year before last, He killed my Grandmother and last year He killed my mom.” Now doesn’t that sound just like the devil, to twist a sad time for that young man into being the fault of God.

I explained to him, that God is not his enemy. God loves him and sent his Son to die for us. That Jesus came to put an end to the work of the devil. I told him that because we live in a sinful world, bad things happen. When Adam and Eve disobeyed God, sin was loosed in this world. Because of that we live in a sinful world. Sinfulness breeds pain, distortion, malfunction, deformation, terror, grief, hate and we could go on and on. “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” [Genesis 1:1]. “For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions. All things were created by Him and for Him. And He is before all things and in Him all things consist” [Colo.1:16-17]. If He just stepped back and turned loose, everything about this world would merge into chaos. Later after God had created everything, “Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good” [Genesis 1:31]. God does not make mistakes! Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever” [Heb. 13:8]. Now, you don’t need anyone to interpret that verse. God said, “I am the Lord thy God and I change not.” Everything God does or has ever done is for our good. He does not need anything! It’s all for us.

When people use His name as a curse word and blame Him for ever bad thing that happened, He cannot help them. He set some rules for us to have a victorious life. If we abide by His rules, then He can help us through any situation. If we go against His laws, we are open meat for the devil. If God broke his rules to help us, it would make Him a liar. God does not make mistakes. Oh, we may go through some bad times, but He will always be there working with us to see us through. Take the law of gravity, it benefits our lives with stability, but if we are stupid and jump off a tall building it will kill us. Electricity is used for wonderful functions to make our life much easier. But if we use it in the wrong way it will kill us. “The wages of sin is death” [Rom.6:23]. Wages are earned. A lot of problems we have, we bring on ourselves, many things happen because we live in a sinful world. Problems come from, the world, the flesh, or the devil. God is perfect, He does not make mistakes. If we thank Him and Praise Him for the good He has done, He helps us even more. The really scary thing is to think about going through this life without Him. People who do not know God or have Jesus in their heart, those who are not being led by the Holy Spirit are just in a state of existence. Without Jesus there is no hope in this world or the world to come. God is a God of Love, not hate. Invite Him to show you that love today. Simply, “God does not Make Mistakes”

Like Matthew 3:11 tells us, John said “I indeed baptize you with water into repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worth to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” See Jesus comes first as our Savior, a Born-again experience. Then He is becoming our Baptizer of The Holy Spirit and fire. After the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you will receive power” [Acts 1:8 a]. The Holy Spirit brings power and fire plus much more. The fire serves at least two purposes. The Holy Spirit will burn out the trash in our lives, and also sets us on fire for God. All through the word it is written “Be ye filled with the Holy Spirit”. As long as we stay in and filled with the Holy Spirit, we will not be lukewarm, complacent, or filled with apathy and lazy.

Now many are afraid of moving on into the Holy Spirit. Just stop and think for a moment, look at the word HOLY. We do not have to be afraid of what God calls Holy. Fear comes from the unknown. “Now concerning spiritual gifts brethren, I would not have you ignorant” [1Cor.12:1]. The way to get rid of ignorance or the unknown is to study. The Holy Spirit is our teacher, so if we get in- gulfed with the Holy Spirit, we can even understand the bible better.

We do not have to fear asking Jesus to baptize us in the Holy Spirit. In the gospel of Luke, verses 9-13, you remember where it says, you are to Ask, Knock and Seek? Well, it says “If a son [a son is already a Christian], If a son ask for bread, would a father give him a stone, or if he asks for a fish will he give him a serpent instead of a fish. If he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion. If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him. “You see, we ask, --- have you ever ask Him? Then He will not let you receive any thing evil. He loves you too much.

There is something Paul experienced when he passed through Ephesus and finding some disciples [disciples are already Christians], he asks them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed? And they said to him, “We have not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Spirit”]. [Acts 19:1-3]. Many are living in that place today. Because Pastors either do not understand about the Holy Spirit or, they are afraid to mention Him. “Seeker-friendly Churches” just don’t want to bring up subjects that are controversial.

In these upcoming days we are going to need the Baptizing and the Infilling of the Holy Spirit more than ever. Are you struggling with something in your life that you just can’t seem to overcome? Is there a weakness, habit or addiction that you know God is not pleased with? God has a plan for you to be victorious. He wants to take us to the Cross, help us understand what Jesus did and help us to accept that sacrifice. That we might know the power that is available to us, to make us overcomers. He paid the price for everything we will ever need. Invite Jesus into your heart today. Ask Him to become your baptizer of His precious Holy Spirit, accept all He has available for you. You will never be sorry. In the “Holy Spirit there is Power”

Awake to Righteousness and sin not; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame” [1 Cor. 15:33-34]. Several places in the bible encourages us, do not be deceived. Apparently, God is trying to tell us it is possible to be deceived. Deception means we do not know we are deceived, confused, mixed up or have a lack of understanding. Many people strongly think the Bible says what they believe. They believed what Uncle soandso or Aunt Knowitall said, instead searching out what the bible actually contains. Many times, the argument is to reinforce a belief backing up a false doctrine they want to live and determined not to change. This is serious and eternal. We are encouraged to “Awake”

“Awake” to righteousness: Become alert, aware of rightness, The Lord upholds the righteous, the Lord knows the days of the upright; and their inheritance shall be forever, they shall not be ashamed. In evil times and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied” [Ps. 37:17-19]. The Lord will bless the righteous.

“Awake” sin not! It is written,” Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good” [Rom. 12:9]. God is not an old man in heaven with a big stick trying to keep us from having fun! He loves us so much he gives us the plan of salvation and victory for this life and security for the life to come. He does not force any one to do anything. He gave us free choice. He loves us so much He gave His Son to suffer and die so we could be forgiven!

“Awake” Evil Company corrupts. The word says abstain from all appearance of evil. In the NKJ it says, “Abstain from every form of evil” [2 Thess.5:22]. God said the way is wide that goes to hell and it’s easy to find. If we hang out with and follow that crowd, we wind up where they are going. --- even if we went to the front of the church some time in life. We will spend eternity with the one we follow here on earth.

“Awake” Some have not the knowledge of God. Not one person has been so bad that God cannot love them. Jesus paid the price for every person that has ever been born or every will be born. Not one person has ever committed sins that God cannot forgive them! Only one sin is unforgivable “Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, and you can’t commit that one if you have never been born again” Just know that Jesus will come into your heart if you just ask Him!

“Awake” Some have not the knowledge of God and I speak this to your shame. Now He is talking to Christians. He has told us over and over in His word to go and tell. He has a calling on every person. We are His body on earth, if the body does not do what He did, [John 14:12] We make Him a Paraplegic. He said the Father gave Him all power and now you go! We are in Him and He is in us and we are in the Father! An extremely large percent of the Body of Christ has never led anyone to the Lord, not one. Let’s do that now, pray this with me and that others will do the same. Pray that the lost will see this and pray. You can use this prayer, come on Pray!
Jesus, I believe by faith, you gave your life so that the sins of man could be forgiven. Please forgive me of all my sins, come into my heart and be my Savior and Lord of my life. Teach me your ways, I will read your word, the bible. Help me to understand it by your Holy Spirit. Thank you, Jesus, for coming into my heart, I believe by Faith that I am now a child of God and you will forever be with me Amen! All hell was rejoicing at the fall of Jesus Christ. There was the gambling for His Robe, The jeering of the winner.

The worst was yet to come, Jesus bearing the sins of the whole world from the beginning of time to the end. The heavenly Father cannot look on sin and turned away; Jesus cries out “My God, My God, Why has thou forsaken me”? See, the very worst thing that could happen to us, is the absence of the presence of God. The crowd rushed to give Him vinegar and gall to drink; drawing His last breath saying “Father unto you I commend My Spirit” the silence, --- on to the tomb where no one else had ever been laid. I’m sure the devil laughed, he thought he had outdone God! Finally, as the stone was rolled in place, the devil must have said “It is finished.”

Today the Body of Christ is going through persecution, test and trials, some more than other but Satan is still trying to put an end to Jesus once more. It seems the whole world is under the thumb of the devil and his wickedness. The United States is the only, really free Nation left. We are still “One Nation Under God” A beacon on a hill, struggling to keep the light of freedom shinning. The devil must be ecstatic; he thinks he is in control once again. Everything seems to be going his way.

Satan has accomplished so much in this United States of America, prayer out of school and out of many homes. He is taking such delight in his victory of sacrificing babies to Molac- with abortion and literal sacrificial ceremonies. He is now destroying the family, even masking gender. God created them male and female. People are not only confused about who they are but even what they are. How Satan must be laughing once again. All this because good men have done nothing!

Now if he can just close down the church who are the people; starting by Christians becoming complacent, apathetical and laziness, making the church weak, now he can cause a medical pandemic and close the doors of the building where the church meets, causing no gathering together of cooperate worship. Jesus said, “Forsake Not the Assembling yourselves together” Big Tec is trying to shut down the internet because he knows divided, we fall, looking forward to the stone being rolled into place closing Jesus in the tomb once more! Who will we obey?

Oh! But he forgot that the stone was supernaturally removed once before, and Jesus rose from the dead and is alive and the gates of hell will not prevail against His church. Because Jesus rose from the dead, there was the day of “Pentecost” giving His body power. There was a great outpouring of His Holy Spirit, many were saved, healed, set free. They were scattered over the known world giving the Word to all nations. Think about it, He may be bringing all nations here to get them saved. People are coming into this nation from all over the world; they take them in buses, trucks, trains to all parts of this USA. Everywhere they are taken, there are Christians. We are being set up for the last great outpouring of His Holy Spirit. God is still on the throne and He has a plan, and that plan is working out just as He designed it. The body of Christ is rising and “Once Again the Stone is being Rolled Away!

Not obedient in a legalistic way, but because we love the Lord so much, it is a pleasure.

“Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: Bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: so shalt thou find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man.” [Prov.3:1-4].

Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: “Forsake” means to abandon; mercy is an act of kindness or of being sympathetic. So, God is encouraging us here in the trials of life, not to allow our self to forsake or abandon the personality of mercy or sympathy, or kindness. In the same manor protect truth. A person’s character is established on truth. If we say we will do something, it is like speaking a decree or making a covenant with that person. The Bible says if we decree a thing it is established in heaven. “seeing he despised the oath by breaking the covenant, when, lo, he had given his hand, and hath done all these things, he shall not escape. Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD; as I live surely mine oath that he has despised, and my covenant that he hath broken, even it will I recompense upon his own head” [Ez.17:18-20].

If you read that whole chapter, it is very obvious God is not pleased with lies. Daily people tell me they will be there or will do a thing, with no intentions to follow up with that word they gave. It seems to be the mode of this day and time, that people avoid the things they don’t want to do. They tell what they think you want to hear, and they are finished with it. I tell this because it has become such a trend for the day. God said “let not mercy and abandon you. In Fact, He encouraged us to be so determined to hold on to them.

Bind them about thy neck: Wonder why God used bind and neck in this instance? I would think it’s because when we proclaim, say or promises a person we will do a thing, if that promises is tied around our neck, it will bother us until do it, or it will be a spiritual drag on us.

Write them upon the table of thine heart: The table would be the surface, the top place. Indicating the first thing we think about till it is taken care of. This makes me think about how important our word is. Thinking how we need to be very careful what we say we will do. How about what we say about others; “Even it, I will recompense it upon his head.” If we are obedient, there are blessings for doing the right things, showing mercy and telling the truth or keeping our mouth shut!

“So, shall thou find favor” Favor is to be esteemed highly or shown approval.

“and good understanding: in the sight of God and man!” That is not a bad place to live. You may want to accept Jesus before your time runs out. The Bible says today is the day of salvation. No one is guaranteed tomorrow. He loves you so much He gave His life that your sins could be forgiven. He wants you to live with Him forever. Jesus is the way the truth and the Life! None comes to the Father but by Him! “His way” The wonderful offer is only offered for a limited time. Accept it today! It ends at death! Come while He “Exhorts to Obedience.”

Prov.3:1-2] The information here is talking about the Fathers commandments [they, the commandments], has great benefits, in living right, there is length of days. I don’t know anyone who does not want to live a long life. The word God tells us how, to have a long life. We could start with the ten commandments, they are brought over into the “New Testament,”. Right here He told us; “Forget not My Law,” that is a commandment. It is not a fist pounding law, it is an encouragement if we want to gain victory in this life. As Christians, the main thing is, we want to please our Savior and our Farther. If we truly Love Him from the heart, it will not be a burden. Now with the Lord living inside us and being engulfed and filled with the Holy Spirit, it is no longer a command as much as it is a privilege and honor. If Christianity is a burden, you may not really be saved’ or you are still trying to hang on to the world. I would want to know for sure!

The very next statement is” let thine “heart” keep my commandments”: See He wants us to have a heart to love and please Him, just as a husband desires his wife to love him with her heart. It is not enough to just keep the rules or be bound by a law. The Lord does not just want a religious following, He wants a sweet relationship. No one enjoys love if they have to force or demand it from someone. Forced love is not love, it is stressful action! God is telling us, when He has our heart, we can have the benefits of “length of days” confirming the promises of a long life.

“Then Peace, shall they [the law] add to you” Think about it, living a long time is everyone’s desire. I believe God placed that down inside of us, but just living long is not all God wants for us. See He said long life and peace. There is a whole world out there looking for peace in their daily existence. Nerve medication is one of the greatest sought after medicines. There is also an addiction that goes with it. Once a person accepts a pill for their problem, instead of the Gospel, the Gos-pill, it is very hard to transition enough faith to come back into a place to turn it over to God.

There are many people that get angry when a teacher says something like that. They say, “you just don’t understand, I’m really sick.” Really sick people were the ones Jesus healed in the Bible. Don’t get angry at the person who is only relaying the message. The only reason a teacher takes time to rely a message to you is because they love you and care about you. “By Jesus’ stripes you are healed” [Is.53:5]. “By Jesus’ stripes you were healed” [1 Peter 2:24].” No weapon formed against you will prosper” [Is 54:17] sickness of any kind is a form of problem, a hindrance, obstacle or handicap. Trusting in the one who created you is the kind of love that really blesses the Father.

If God is not your father, you might put some thought into, “Why Not?” He loves you so much, He sent His only son to earth as a baby, to grow up and teach mankind how-to live-in victory. Jesus, His son was willing to be torched, beaten, crucified, die, be buried and pay the price for your sins, He was raised from the dead to show His overcoming power for you, why not invite Him into your heart today and receive peace and His “Exhortation for Obedience”

Game, Gamble, Gift

In the world of today, Christianity is treated so many different ways. It seems as if so many just make up their definition of what Christianity is. To our surprise, Christianity is still the same today as it was back in the Bible book of Acts. Early in this year the Lord spoke to me and said “Many people think the Bible says what they believe” I let that soak in because He told us in His word “My sheep hear my voice” [John 10:27]. I knew He was showing me that we need to bring our thinking and believing around to what the Bible says. Let’s look at a few things.

Game: Some act as though Christianity is just a game. Pulling the playing board out on Sunday, [When convenient] then back under the bed through the week. Then post on FB all week that looks nothing like a Christian. “To do evil is like a sport to a fool” [Prov. 10:23]. Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the Mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we are incorruptible. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air; But I keep under my body and bring it under subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway” [1Cor.9:24-27]. I didn’t write this, this is Bible! He is saying that when we run a race, there is one that wins, His name is Jesus and if we are in Him, we win too. He plays to win and does not do foolishly as the beating of air. That he is temperate in all things, using self-control. Play to win, this life is not a game, but in reality, is our eternity. Don’t lose by default!

Gamble: Remember, we don’t want to beat the air doing things that don’t count. That is also a gamble. Spin the Roulette wheel, where it stops nobody knows. Flip a coin, heads we win and tails we lose. I remember a time in the Bible where they drew straws to see who would take Judas’s place. The lot fell on Matthias. For some reason, he was ever heard from again. Later God chose Paul. He wrote about 2/3 of the New Testament and did many signs and wonders. What are you gambling your eternity on, fact or faith, Traditions or The Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ? The facts are real, but fact can be changed by faith in Jesus Christ.

Gift: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” [John 3:16]. God gave the gift of His only son, that every man, woman, child could be with Him for all eternity. That is the Gift of salvation. We simply have to choose Him, believe and receive. That is how we appropriate what He has already done. Glory!! “For the wages of sin is death, but the Gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” [Rom.6:23]. Wages are earned. A person earns the paycheck of eternal hell, through sin and by not choosing Jesus as Savior. Jesus went through the most devastating horror that could be placed upon any man. He took all the sins upon himself from the beginning of time to the end of time. No movie can portray the whole truth. The Bible says He did not even look like a man by the time they got through with Him. For that awesome Gift to us, He deserves our praise and our total commitment to Him. “Presenting our bodies as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to God, which is our reasonable service. Conforming not to this world but being transformed by the renewing of our mind, that we might prove what is that good, and acceptable and perfect, will of God” [Romans 12:1-2]. What is your faith connected to, Game, Gamble, or Gift?

[Ps. 104:4]. Notice how we come into His presence! This is a type of getting to The Father, we go through the gates to go into the outer courts of the Temple of God. We enter the inner court with praise, then bless His name which is worship, coming into the Holy of Hollies. “For the Lord is good; and His mercy endures to all generations”

We are going to talk about “His voice” but just as we enter into His presence by Thanksgiving, praise and Worship, there is a protocol to hear His voice. “Give unto the Lord oh you mighty ones, Give unto the Lord glory and strength. Give unto the Lord glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. [Ps.29:1-2]. Notice the Word says Give, Give, Give- three times. First Give oh you mighty ones, indicating His body; that’s those of us who are born again, because we are the only ones who can give what He ask. Second: Give Glory and strength. We Give Him the Glory for everything that He has given and worked through us, with all our strength! Three: Give unto the Lord the Glory due to His Name: Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. We return to Him all we have, body, soul and spirit that He has given us in His own awesome Holiness! He said “be ye holy as I am holy” We can do that only as we give ourselves to Him. He said, “Lift up holy hands” Our hands may not be Holy, but when we lift them to Him and Glorify Him, they become Holy!

“The Voice of the Lord is over many waters” [V.3}. Many times, in the Bible when it says waters and does not name the body of water, it is referring to people. His voice is over many people, true! “The God of glory thunders” His voice many times sounds like Thunder. “The voice of the Lord is Powerful.” He spoke the world into existence. “The voice of the Lord is majestic.” [V.4].

“The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars” [V.5]. Christians are a type of cedar trees. We have to be broken before Him so we can get out of our self and be totally yielded to Him. Cedar trees are very noble, stately, grows high. The Godly are renound people, tough, they grow high in spiritual experiences. Cedars root deep, roots spread in many directions: Christians root deep and spread their influence in many directions. They are rooted in the covenant. Now that said the Godly. “There are much that we are likened to cedars. The space here is too limited.

“The voice of Lord divides the flames of fire” [V.7]. There are two kinds of fire” John the Baptist said, ”I indeed baptize you with water for the remission of sin, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry He will baptize you with the Holy Ghost and fire ”His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly purge His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire”[Matt.3:11-12]. In this we see two kinds of fire, the Holy Ghost fire to be baptized with, setting us on fire in Him, to purify us and for us to witness to others also to have power to minister to others [Acts1:8]. We see another fire in verse twelve that burns up chaff anything that is not Godly. We may be looking at a fire that purifies and one of Judgment.

Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice” Are you hearing His voice? Do you take Him with you everywhere you go? If Not, just ask Him to forgive you for all your sins, invite Him into your heart and teach you how to live the way He wants you to. You will Hear “The Lords Voice.”

When He created mankind, He placed him in the Garden of Eden. That was such an awesome place, a utopia that is beyond our comprehension. He wanted the very best for His creation. He knew mankind could not live by the kind of law it would take to earn their way back into His perfection, so, He sent His son to buy back what Adam and Eve lost. The price has been paid; He just can’t get us to receive all of it. Mankind just wants Salvation from Hell. It’s sort of like Fire insurance. Yet God has so much more for us, we have inherited everything back that Adam lost. Many want to trust in Man or themselves, which is man for their wellbeing. “Cursed is the man, who trust in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the Lord. For he shall be like a shrub in the desert and shall not see when good comes but shall inhabit parched places in the wilderness. [Jere. 17:5-6] This is not talking about people that never knew the Lord. It says those who depart from Him. This might be why we hear so much grumbling on the streets today. People are living like a shrub in dry, parched, wilderness places. This says they will not even see when good comes. They will not make good investments or get a good job, because they can’t see it when God presents it.

“Blessed is the man who trust in the Lord, and whose hope is in the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spread out its roots by the river and will not fear when heat comes; But it’s leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit” [ Jere. 17:7-8]. This blessed man, who trust in the Lord, roots down in the Living Water. He does not have to fear the heat of this life because he has plenty of water. When it does not rain, he does not have to take nerve medication. He will continue right through the dry hot times and bear fruit, because he has a source of life. His name is Jesus.

As we read Psalm 23, we see that God covers our needs. He is our Shepard, makes us lie down in green pastures, leads us by calm waters, restores us as needed, we don’t have to fear, no matter how bad it gets because He will guide and direct us. He even blesses us in front of our enemies and anoints us to serve as our cup runs over. Wow!! “We inherit Everything”.

“Therefore, we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip” [Heb.2:1]. This is telling us that Christianity is not a game we play, that if we are not serious about these things, they can slip. Slip means, to flow by or carelessly pass. [ Greek reference].

“Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” [2 Peter1:2-4].

See, “We inherited everything”. Notice though, it is through the knowledge of Him! The only way to the Father and His blessings is through the Son, Jesus Christ. If you don’t know Him or you have departed from Him, just ask Him to forgive you and invite him to be the Lord of your life. There is no person too bad for Him to receive and no sin too big for Him to forgive. Come on in with us today, “We have inherited everything “. Everything Jesus paid for is GOOD!

I know a pastor that travels all over the world ministering to people. There is manifestations of salvations, healings and miracles everywhere he goes. However, in his hometown, he has a church of about thirty members. Jesus found that to be true in His ministry.

Unbelief kept Jesus from doing mighty works in His own hometown. The people were astonished at what they saw, saying “what wisdom is this which is given to Him, that even such mighty works are wrought by His hands,” Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James and Judah, and Simon? Jesus said unto them. A prophet is not without honor, but in his own country, and in his own house. And could there do no mighty works, save that He laid His hands upon a few sick folks and healed them. And He marveled at their unbelief” [Mark 6:3-6]. Just think what the people could have had if they could have seen Jesus for who He was. Just think what could happen today if people could believe that Jesus could still do the same today through His Body. If only His Body could believe. “As He IS so are we in this world” [1John 4:17]. He tells us over and over in His word that He is still doing the same as He always did. ” Verily, Verily, I say unto you the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works shell he do; because I go unto my Father” [John 14:12]. Now that is only for those who believe that is possible and that it is still for today. I tell people all time I couldn’t heal a Nat’s wing, but the one who lives in me can heal anything. His Name is Jesus. He said “And these signs shall follow them that believe, in My name Shall cast out devils, speak with new tongues, pick up serpents and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them, they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover” [Mark 16:17-18]. Once again that is for those who believe.

There are those who say well, that is not for today. I ask where does the word split off from John three where it tells about Moses lifting up the serpent in the wilderness as a type of Jesus being lifted up on the cross to the scripture, we all confess “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have everlasting life” [John 3:16]. In the same letter is where we find He said, “The works that I do shall he [the believer] do also, and Greater works” The Bible is not a smorgasbord that we can go through and pick out what we feel comfortable with and say the other is not for us. The Bible says, “Forsake not the assembling yourselves together” A lot of people don’t like that either. These things may seem hard or harsh, but it’s because I love people and care what happens to them that I write the Word of God out plain. If we don’t believe what the Word of God says, then our belief is wrong, and we bind Jesus from helping us.

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever [Hebrews 13:8] God said, “I change not” To receive His mighty works in our lives, is to “Meet His Requirements” according to the word of God, then receive them by faith in what he is able to do. What He has promised He is faithful to perform. Let Him “Do His Mighty Works in and Through You.”

Even after complaining, they never quit praising God on a regular basis. They proclaimed His goodness, praised Him confessing His goodness in the midst of their troubles. That might be a good word for us today, in the turmoil of our present calamities. “For. Lo, the wicked bend the bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privately shoot at the upright in heart.” [Ps.11:2] With the likeness of a bow and arrow the evil shoot words out about the upright in heart. They are trying to stop free speech and for sure trying to stop the output of the word of God; God looks on “The Heart” where we keep our secrets that we tell no one. He knows our thoughts our motives and our desires.

The lord is in His Holy Temple, the Lords Throne is in heaven: His eyes behold, His eyelids try the children of men. [V4]. You realize when you really focus in to see something; you will squint your eyes to focus clearly and think about it. God does the same to try the children of men. Try, means to evaluate; he evaluates the wicked and the upright. “The lord tries the righteousness; but the wicked and him that loves violence, His soul hates. Upon the wicked He shall rain snares, fire and brimstone,” [V.5-6].

What would be His evaluation be of you today? He looks on the heart. Are you dwelling in the secret place of the highest, do you abide there? When He looks into your heart, your most secret place, does He find himself there? Have you invited Jesus into your heart? If not, would you like to have Him there? Just say Forgive me of all my sins, I am so sorry. Come into my heart Jesus. I want you to be my Savior and the Lord of everything in my life, Please, come and live in the most secret place of my being “My Heart.”

We see 4 results of abiding in “The Secret Place.”

There shall not be afraid for the terror by night: We know there are many terrors 24 hours of the day, of which most of them happen in the dark. People hide to do wrong, because they know it is wrong. So, if we have to hide to do a thing, think about it, “It’s Wrong.”

Nor the arrow that flieth by day: Implying that there are dangers that comes in the day. There are spiritual arrows that goes out and words are likened to arrows. They are powerful. “who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words” God is said to shoot with an arrow, when He heaps swift and speedy vengeance upon the wicked [Psal.64:3 and 7]. We know that all God has to do is speak a thing and it is done.

“Nor the pestilence that walks in darkness: By being in the “Secret Place” you shall not be afraid! “God has not given us a spirit of fear” He told us “No pestilence or plague shall come neigh your dwelling” Now what are we going to believe, the word of man that brings fear --- or the word of God who cannot tell a lie? No, No, No! This is talking about the benefits of those who are in the Secret Place. If you are fearful and afraid to die, you better get ready. The germ warfare will likely get much worse. If you will get in the “Secret Place” under the wing of the “One True God” having faith in what He is able to do, you do not have to be afraid.

Nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday: There may be some destruction coming your way. There has already been much to this nation and damage to many individuals around the world in this past year. All of it is a waste! “If a thief be found he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house. But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul. A wound and dishonor shall he get; and his reproach shall not be wiped away” [Prov.6:31-33]. There are different repercussions for a thief of material things and theft of a person’s emotional values. Material things can be paid back. However, when a man and woman have intimate relationships outside of marriage, they become one with each other. Adultery is being with a married person, fornication is with a single person, both sin! That destruction can never be replaced or taken back. The wages of sin is death! With true repentance, it can be forgiven, but a lifestyle of it is not repentance, nor is it forgiven except in repentance, that is turning from the sin. That is why it is one of the Ten Commandments. God loves us so much He wants to protect us.

Your payback from a thief may not come to you as you expect, but if you trust what God can do, it will come back to you!

Giving our life to Jesus, who was willing to come to earth as a regular man and suffer, bleed, die, be buried and overcome sin and death for us, is the best way to live. He redeemed “Bought us back from the devil” If you don’t know Him or don’t live for Him, why not? Hell is the only other choice! Some people will go to hell by default, simply by not choosing Jesus. Jesus Loves you. He is waiting on you to come to Him and be able to dwell in “The secret Place.”

He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shall thou trust: His truth shall be thy Shield and buckler” [Ps.91:3-4].

Deliver thee from the snare of the fowler; a snare is a trap or any situation that the “fowler,” wicked men, fallen angels and demons set for the righteous. Our God shall deliver us from those traps!

Deliver from the noisome pestilence: Hebrew noisome word is havvah, meaning, rushing calamity; one that sweeps everything before it. Pestilence is a contagious, often fatal, disease that spreads quickly. We just saw something that looked like this and the fowler snared many with the spirit of fear, because they believed the fowler instead of the word of God. The word of God said “Surely He shall deliver thee! Shall- is a strong word, and If God said it, and you have faith, He will do it. We just have not been taught how true the word of God is!

He shall cover thee with His feathers: How many knows that being under His wing is the safest place we could be? There is such a protection, if we believe or have any faith at all, we trust Him, and no claim jumper can move us! Not what doctors say, what the bank says or any lies of any fowler!

His truth shall be thy shield: The shield protects from all attacks of the enemy. The shield can be moved any direction from which the enemy launches his strategy.

His Truth shall be thy buckler: a buckler is a small shield worn on the arm. As the large shield is protecting the greater area, it may be the buckler protects from the side.

Something we see here is, it says, “His Truth” IS the shield and the buckler! Jesus said that.

“He confirms His Word with signs following!” [Mark 16:20] His word is the truth. He only works when our words line up with His word. That may be why many prayers do not manifest. It should also impress us with the fact of how important it is for us to know His word. We cannot know His Word with a 15 minute sermon on Sunday morning. We must feed on His word every day. What if we only ate a snack of regular food at 10:00 o’clock on Sundays?

There may be some who do not even know what we are talking about, Feathers, shield, buckler, word snack on Sundays, but something on the inside of you lets you know you want to be set free, you want to be protected, you want someone you can trust! Well, that someone is Jesus Christ. He was willing to come to earth and suffer and die on the cross for you! He knows where you are and has had His hand extended toward you, just waiting till you got ready. If you will just say this and believe –Jesus, I know I’m a sinner, I’m tired of the way I’ve been living, please forgive me of all my sins that I’ve ever committed. Come into my heart Lord Jesus, cleans me, help me to live in a way I can be pleasing to you. I truly want to live in “The Secret Place.”

Ps. 91 was written to comfort the people of God in the wilderness while going through the 40 years of trials and to comfort and to assure the children of God in all ages of His providence in their earthly pilgrimage. In it we read “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the almighty. He will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress my God; in Him will I trust. [Psalm 91:1-2].

There are many benefits for us in this passage, of which we have a part. There are always responsibilities in receiving the blessings.

First, he that dwells; in the Hebrew is “Yashab” to sit down; to dwell; to remain; to settle in; as taking up a homestead or staking a claim and resisting all claim-jumpers; to possess a place.

Second, shall abide; abide is to stay; continue; to make your continual abode; to bear patiently; to be faithful to; to accept the terms or consequences of; as to abide by a treaty.

Third, under the shadow of, to be in the shadow of a person is to be very close; move when he moves; stop when He stops; to feel the warmth; and being protected from the burning rays of the earthly sun; sheltered from dangerous elements and much more.

Forth, he will say of the Lord; speak forth; give witness; proclaim the goodness. Words are like seeds being planted. When we speak, he is my refuge my fortress, we are planting the seeds of His goodness we are reinforcing and multiplying His protection around us.

Fifth, Say in Him will I trust. Trusting in the Lord is a sign of Faith; God is a God of Faith; we cannot please God without faith [Heb.11:6]. The more we say something, the more it gets down on the inside of us stimulating the faith for that subject. This is why we don’t say negative things about ourselves or others. If we continue to tell our children that they are a failure, that they always do wrong, never do anything right. That is exactly what they will become. If we say over and over our boss is always picking on us, words are seeds planted for the boss to always pick on us, and so will the next boss. We are still reaping our own crop of seeds.

So-- we dwell with our Lord, we abide with Him, stay close enough to be in His shadow, we witness of His goodness and live in the results of that goodness. We say, speak --planting seeds, into our future, always uplifting and positive about ourselves and others.

This makes very clear to us, that we get established in Jesus in a very steadfast relationship. So many times, we either take Him for granted or never think seriously about the awesome supply or advantages He has supplied. There are many promises in His word and conditions to receiving. All through His word, He says IF you do, then I will do. He told us to Ask, Knock, and Seek; He said He would answer, open and reveal.

The entrance to this kind of life is to understand this; “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. He that believes on Him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [John3:16 and 18]. The plan of God is for us to “Dwell in the Secret Place.”

Lets believe the Word of God! There are so many in the Body who are sick, impaired or distorted. My heart hurts for all the pain and illness. In the Bible, Jesus was either on His way to heal someone or just finished healing someone. It is written, “By His stripes we are healed [Is 53]. “Are” is pointing to the cross from the other side of the cross,” By His stripes we were healed” [1Peter 2:24]. “Were” is pointing back to the cross from this side. He healed those who came to Him in faith. Let’s see what they did.

One incident was, “And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed Him, and saying “thou son of David, have mercy on us.” And when He was come into the house, the blind men came unto Him: and Jesus said unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto Him, Yea Lord. Then touched He their eyes, saying, According to your Faith be it done unto you” [Matt. 9:27-29]. I noticed some things in this passage for us today.

They followed Him: “And They immediately left their ship and their father and followed Him” [Matt 4:22]. The ship was a symbol of their material things and their father was a symbol of their family. Jesus wants us to be willing to leave all to follow Him. He doesn’t always ask us to do that, but He does not want things or people to be more important to us than he is. Anything more important to us than He is, has become Our God!

They Called out to Him: Blind Bartimaeus was on the side of the road and heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth and he began to cry out, and say son of David, have mercy on me” [Mark 10:47]. The people tried to shut him up, but he cried out all the more. That lets us know we do not let people keep us from calling out to Jesus, even in public. Who do we fear? Jesus said “Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess before My Father which is in Heaven” [Matt.10:32]. If we don’t, He don’t! We cannot be secret service Christians.

They Believed: “The centurion answered and said, Lord I am not worthy that you should come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed” [Matt8:8]. The centurion not only believed, he had great respect and a humbleness toward the minister, Jesus Christ. I believe this shows that being humble is a great attribute in healing. So is respect for the presence of God. Respect toward the minister of God. Jesus said “Verily, verily I say unto you, he that believes on Me, the works that I do shall He do also; and greater works than these shall he do, because I go to My Father” [John 14:12]. Not greater in quality but in quantity. So, we need to respect the one that God flows through, to lay on hands and pray. That’s only if you desire answered prayer. He said do you believe I am able to do this? They said Yea Lord! Do you believe I will flow through my minister to do this?

These men followed Jesus, they called out to Him, they believed, they came to Him! Our trail for help and victory.

“Then touched He their eyes, saying, according to your faith be it done unto you” Jesus still has compassion to heal today through faith, His blood and His Name. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Trust Him to lead you in “One Path to Victory” He is that Path!

In the last four years there has been demonstration made very clear to all of the differences between good and evil. I believe God is allowing some things to happen on purpose, to help people recognize the difference between good and evil. It really has nothing to do with people, but the war between principalities and powers, rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness of this world. Yes, they use people to move through, but our fight is not against Flesh and Blood. The war is between God and satan. The followers of God and the followers of satan. God has a Kingdom and satan has a Kingdom. The Kingdom of God has a book of instructions that gives the followers of God the plan for victory, because He loves them. Satan has a device called influence, to lead his followers down the path of destruction. All mankind was created in the image of God even though, not all are following the plan of God. So satan hates all mankind because he hates God so much. He uses man for his own selfish purpose with influencing them to do His bidding.

The early Christians Church was started by twelve dedicated committed men. They were convinced followers of Jesus Christ, and how their conviction had an influenced, in a period of time on the whole world. We see the United States is one of the greatest Nations, because it was founded on Christian Values. It became the nation that helped all other nation in some form. The heart of this nation has always stood with Israel, causing us to have the blessings of God. Freedom for all mankind was our main purpose. United we stand. We are the most blessed and one of the richest nations in the world “Laboring together”.

“Blessed is the Nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for His own inheritance” [ps.33:12]. This Nation has been blessed over 200 years. We see an all-out effort to remove Jesus and the name of God from everything in this nation. Now we see we are not so blessed anymore. This is not a political statement. It is a spiritual statement. God said I am the Lord Thy God and I change not. ” Righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people” [Prov.14:34]. The word of God, the creator of the universe is, so simple and easy to understand. He does not make it hard for us to comprehend.

God has a plan for this nation, and it is good. He said” If My people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and heal their land” [ 2 Chr.7:14]. [notice MY people] this is not even talking about all those people out there we are grumbling about. He has given us a way to get this nation healed. His People, who are called Christians, to humble ourselves, pray, seek His face, turn from sin. We don’t need a Theologian to interpret this scripture for us. It does not take a rocket scientist to understand what it says. It will take a few good men and women to do what it says and influence others.

It does not matter what the name over the church door reads. God says all who are born again are one body. He says we are to love one another. Not just those who we like. If we care about our nation and have a desire for God to heal our land, then we will work together “Till we all come into the unity of the faith, and the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: “[Eph. 4:13]. God is waiting for a group of people He can show Himself Mighty through to this wicked world. “UNITED WE STAND”

We have used this scripture before, some time ago. We could never tell about it enough or even get all the spiritual meaning out of it. “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all in one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it fill all the house where they were siting and there appeared to them cloven tongues as of fire and sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues” [Acts 2:1-4]. Jesus had told five hundred people to go to Jerusalem and wait till they were endued with power. We don’t know all the reasons why, but by the time the promise came, there were only 120 dedicated people in the upper room. I imagine it was something like today, slothful, lukewarm, sleep in’s and dozens of reasons people just can’t be where God told them to be. So, the other 380 people that just couldn’t wait, couldn’t be there, for whatever the reason, missed the awesome blessing that God had for them.

Many times, there are other kinds of great winds that come suddenly in our lives as it did when Jesus and the disciples were in the boat. There are those storms of life when the cares of this world seem overwhelming and we don’t know what to do. For Christians, Jesus is there to bring us through the storm. It is written “Do not be afraid of sudden terror, nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes” [Prov. 3:25].

When Paul got out of the boat in Malta and joined the people, a snake came out of the fire and bit him, it was such a poisonous viper, the people expected that He would suddenly fall to the ground, dead. After they watched for a while, they decided he was a god. [ Acts 28:6] Of course Paul knew that God comes in the suddenlies of His life and kept him from death.

There may be many hard things happen in the years to come. The Bible teaches us, that as the darkness gets darker, the Light of the true Church will get brighter. “Watch therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore, if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you [Revelation 3:3].

Jesus has promised He will return to receive His Bride unto Him. “Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming---in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning lest, coming suddenly, He find you sleeping. [Mark 13:35-36]. There is a day coming and it may be soon, that we will hear the sound of a trumpet, we [His Bride] will rise to meet Him in the air. We will be closed in with Him for 7 years. The tribulation will be going on down here. It will not be a good place to be. Then He will come back, and every eye will see Him as He takes charge of this world. Are you ready, are you a part of the Bride? The one you serve here on earth is the one you will serve for all eternity. “It is appointed to man once to die and then the judgement” [Heb. 9:27]. There is no in-between, no second chance after death. Jesus told the thief on the cross “Today you will be with me in paradise” Are you ready? When Jesus comes, He will come “Suddenly.”

God gave the law to reveal what sin is. To help us recognize the difference between right and wrong. He gave the law to mankind to let man know that they cannot of their own strength or will-power live by a set of rules without Christ. He wanted us to understand that man is ruled by the heart. Because God loved mankind so much, He gave them all kinds if rituals along with the law so their sins could be covered. All the rules and regulations could not cause man to have a personal relationship with the Father. Their contact with God, for the most part, was through a priest or Prophet that God spoke to.

God created man to have a relationship with Him. After allowing man to see he could not keep the law in their own strength, He sent His Son [Jesus] to earth by way of a young virgin girl to pay an extremely huge price for the sins of man. But this time, not to cover their sins but to completely wash them away by the blood that Jesus shed on the cross. When a person invites Jesus into their heart in faith, they now have a heart to recognize right from wrong. Jesus is in their heart to help them make right decisions. They no longer need the written law of Moses to keep them on tract, by rules and regulations, they live it from the heart. “But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets” [V21]. Manifest means it can be seen. The law and the prophets witness that righteousness which is being lived by true Christians without legalism but living in love and the desire to please their heavenly Father. The sad thing is, that many who call themselves Christians, have no relationship with the Father and care little about pleasing Him. Therefore, from the witness of their lifestyle, they give Christianity a bad name. This causes some to say, “If God lets them go to heaven, He sure wouldn’t send me to hell, I don’t have to worry.”

“That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord [Rom. 5:21]. We are saved by Grace through Faith! “Grace reigns through righteousness!” The word reign means “To possess or exorcise sovereign power; to have Royal authority” It is through “Righteousness that Grace has Royal Authority and is able to exorcise Sovereign Power”. To save us from the Hell we deserve [because sin reigns unto death] and [by sovereign power] places us into eternal Life with Christ Jesus. Wow !!

The scripture started with “Sin hath reigned unto death” Sin has a certain power and authority because it reigns – yes reigns unto death. That death is a spiritual death. Each time a person intentionally sins, their spirit dies a little. “The wages of sin is death” [Rom. 6:23]. Wages are earned. That is how their conscience is finally seared like with a hot Iron [1 Tim. 4:2].

The Grace that Jesus died for is what we are saved by, now we see, grace reigns through righteousness, and “our righteousness is as filthy rags” [Is. 64:6]. We have the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus [2Cor. 5:21]. That Awesome “Grace Reigns Through Righteousness”

Save us from violence, discord, and confusion, from pride and arrogance, and from every evil way. Defend our liberties and fashion into one united people the multitude brought here out of many nations and tongues. Endow with the Spirit of wisdom those to whom in Your Name we entrust the authority of government, that there may be justice and peace at home, and that through obedience to Your law we may show forth Your praise among the nations on earth. In time of prosperity fill our hearts with thankfulness, and in the day of trouble do not allow our trust in You to fail. Amen.

President Thomas Jefferson
Washington D.C. · March 4, 1801

This is our day and month for national prayer. What better way for us to pray than in agreement with our founding fathers? The Bible tells us that “The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; [2Cor.10:4].” Prayer is the most powerful weapon we could possibly have.

Thanking God for His goodness and mercy, thanking him for keeping this nation a free nation, giving us the blessings of prosperity and wellbeing, causing other nations to call us blessed and they do, or they wouldn’t all be trying to come here to live. For all of you who curse this nation and try to rip it apart, tell me what country you like better and I’ll buy you a ticket as you give up your citizenship papers of this great USA. Being Thankful to God for all His blessings and goodness is another strong weapon in our warfare. In fact, He said we enter into his presence with “Thanksgiving” God is not through with this nation and so don’t give up!

He sent us “The Holy Spirit” as our helper, not our doer. Our Father expects us to do warfare for our domain. The Bible says for us to pray for our enemies. They are deceived; they are blind to the things of God, the one true God. Like Israel did, they got off tract and were serving other Gods. Many today has done the same. The greatest thing we could do is pray them into the Kingdom of God, the Creator of all things. Many that have been deceived by all this evil, have now realized the true wickedness of mankind. They are seeing the destruction of what a few depraved people can do, and they are turning by the thousands in the right direction.

We have some great things coming, things like we have never seen before. God said “I know the thoughts I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you an expected end” [Jere.29:11].

There may be some reading this writing that would like to give yourself to that wonderful God, the creator of all things. If so, just tell Him How sorry you are for all the sins you have committed, and He will throw them as far as the east is to the west and remember them no more. Ask Him to come into your heart, live through you and teach you His Ways. He will!!!
Then you will want to “Pray for the Nation.”

The Lord revealed a Word to me that I believe is for the whole Body of Christ. He reminded me of a teaching I have heard many times and you have too. The teaching, that when God created us, He created a God shaped vacuum inside each of us. That a person will never have true peace and contentment until they recognize that they need a savior, and invite Jesus in to fill that emptiness, that God shaped space. That Vacuum.

Then He showed me another space, He opened my spiritual eyes to see a man shaped vacuum inside His heart. Wow! He caused me to realize He will not be satisfied or content until we have filled that place in Himself, that He designed for each of us individually before the world began. The Bible talks about Jesus in us, the hope of glory. That comes when we invite Jesus into our Heart. Then it says, “put on Christ” That is us in Him. That is when we let Him engulf us, baptize us with His Presence, Likeness, traits and Personalities by the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, “Wait in Jerusalem until you have been endued with power from on high.” [Luke 24:49 – Acts 1:4]. “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you [Acts 1:8] He wants to be in you and on you!

He showed me a big human shaped space or mold inside Himself, with a little son in it. He has a shape and design for each of his children. “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you” [Jere. 1:5] We were a human being before we were conceived in the womb. He had plans for each of us before the world began. He showed me this big mold with this little person in it. He revealed to my heart, that he sees us much bigger in the spirit than we have become. He revealed that many of his people want Him to shrink the mold to fit what they already are, [like, you do it my way God]. They are willing to settle for a little, when He has a big, big plan for each of us. “Eye hath not seen nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him” [ 1 Cor. 2: 9] He wants us to grow and mature into that big plan He has for us.

He wants us to remember He is the potter, and we are the clay. When we allow Him to grow us up to fill that mold, He has designed for each of us in Him, Yes, He will be content and well pleased. Also, we will be blessed by having the opportunity to live in that abundant life that Jesus came and paid for, for us. That Garden Life that God had planned for us when He created man, even before the world began. Are you content, or is there something inside telling you, there has to be more, is this all life has to offer? “But it is written, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him” [1 Cor.2:9].

You may want to come to Jesus and receive the love He has for you. He is your help in times of trouble, He is the answer to all your questions, He is the extent of your shortage. He is the fulfillment of your emptiness, He is the peace in your discontent, He is the presence in your lonesomeness, He is the healing in your pain and brokenness. Actually, He is the Great I Am! “He is the I Am” of all your needs. Why not invite Him into your life and receive life Everlasting. The only thing is --- We have to come on His terms. Just say “Lord Jesus, I know I’m a sinner, please forgive me for all the sins I’ve ever committed! Please come into my Heart and be the Lord of my life! I know you will help me; I can’t do this on my own, I will do what I know and let you teach me your ways. Thank you, Jesus, for saving my soul, I don’t want to settle for what I’ve been living, I don’t want to “Settle for Little “!

In my prayer time, not in words but in my mind’s eye, I saw a plant cut off at the ground. It came to me that when a plant is completely cut off and it begins to grow back, it always comes back bearing what the root is.That is so simple, but I knew it was the Lord showing me something, something spiritual.

He reminded me of the walnut tree in my back yard. It was a walnut tree. I had the tree cut down. The root was not dead so it begin to grow back, it came back in its natural state, a pure Walnut tree. Weeds in the yard, chopped off, came back according to what the root was. Then I had Hollyhocks all around the yard. In the fall, they died back to the ground and I cut them off at the ground and before I knew it they had grown back as winter plants. We had that awful snow and freeze, that lasted for days. The Hollyhocks completely froze and turned brown and fell to the ground. When the sun came back I was amazed, they grew new big green leaves like wild again. I raked all the old dead leaves off from around them and now they already have buds and will be blooming before spring, from their old steadfast roots. The Tree, the weeds, the flowers, as long as the roots are alive the plant comes back!

As the people were coming to be baptized by John the Baptist, he noticed some that were coming to be baptized for the wrong reason [wrong roots wrong motives]. John said; “who warned you to flee from the wrath to come [coming for fire insurance]. Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance” Then He said “And now also the ax is laid at the root of the trees: every tree therefore which brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire” [Luke 3:7-9].People are likened to trees or plants in the bible. People, who live a lifestyle of sin, bringing forth not good fruit, will be cut off and cast into the fire. “Wherefore by their fruit you shall know them”[Matt. 7:20]. Actions, attitudes, personalities or influences that are not God, are the bad fruit. Trying to be good, putting on a front, just covering up does not work. We have to kill the sin root or it, the sin root, will just keep on making sin. When we see one of those actions that is not God, we stop, repent, ask forgiveness, give it to Jesus and turn from the sinful ways [repent], making an effort, never to do it again.

Jesus is from the root of Jessie, so “the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law and they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lust”[Gal.5:22-23]. In order to have no law, we know we have crucified the flesh with its addictions. We also know that trees need nourishment, so we fertilize, water and stir the soil. In other words we feed ourselves with the word, prayer and praise!

“For if the first fruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. [Rom.11:16]. If we give the first of our time to the Lord, it will be blessed, our whole day, will be blessed. The same-- first day of our week, the first day of our month, the first of our finances, the first of our service or labor, all will be blessed. How much blessing do we want. Jesus is the root of the true believers, our root is Holy and we are the branches; the world will know us by our fruit. He is our safety, our deliverance from the enemy, our buckler and shield. We have His abiding presence, His goodness, answers to prayer, stability, peace, strength and freedom from fear among many other blessings.

“If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” [V.3]. There is a story about a man that built his house on sand and another built on a solid rock. When storms came the house that was on sand was destroyed. But the house built on the solid rock , stood. This was a symbol of our lives, We can work , invest and become rich, yet if we don’t know Jesus as our savior, when the storms of life comes, we will fall. He is our solid rock. When we invite Jesus to come into our heart and forgive us our sins, we then began to build on that solid rock. Not perfect, but building. God looks on the heart. He cannot look on sin. So when He looks at us He sees the Blood of Jesus.

In verse four it says “The Lord is in His holy temple, The Lord’s throne is in heaven: His eyes behold, His eyelids try, the children of men” We remember who God is. He is high and lifted up. His throne is in Heaven. The bible talks about three heavens. The air and space around us is the first heaven, Outer space is the second heaven and the place where His throne is, is the third heaven. My book “Days of Our Lives” goes more in detail.

The throne indicates a King, Jesus is the king and seated on the throne at the right side of the father. King indicates a Kingdom, and a Kingdom has subjects. When we are born again, we become His subjects. Subjects are supposed to be in total submission the King. This passage says, His eyes behold: He sees everything, There is no action that escapes Him. What is done in darkness will be brought out into the light. Every evil deed is seen by Him. On the other hand, The good things we do and think no one notices, God Sees and rewards us. We should do things to please God. If it pleases man, that’s just an extra blessing. If we work to please man, we lose our blessing from God.

Look, it says, His eyes behold, His eyelids try the children of men. One translation says, test the children of men. Think about eyelids: When we really try to see something, we sequence our eyes to focus. When God test us, checks us out, His eyelids are drawn close together so as to get a more single, direct and penetrating look. Wow ! We have an awesome God. He cares about everything that concerns us. None of us are insignificant. He is looking for men and women to fill the Gap. He has a plan for you. There are many promises in the bible, and God watches over His Word to perform It.

His eyes behold, His eyelids try or test the children of men. What does He see when He looks at you. If you are born again, He sees the Blood of Jesus. That Blood That Jesus shed on the cross, that your sins could be washed away. ” What does God see “

There is no other God except the one true God that warrants a capital “G”. He is the God that created all things. ”For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist” [Colo. 1:16-17]. He is the “I AM”, “The Alfa and the Omega, the Beginning and the End” “No other God.”

No Other God: would bother to leave the spender of heaven , be birthed as a baby, grow up here in this sinful land, teach a handful of men how to carry on here on earth and teach them His Word, who He is, and trust mankind to tell His awesome story, generation after generation.

No other God: has ever come down off their throne and subjected himself to torcher for his subjects. “So his visage [appearance] was marred more than any man and His form more than the sons of man” [ Isa.52:14]. He was beat and tormented more than any man has ever been, abused for His subjects. I am using the term subjects because we are talking about Jesus “God The Son” and He is the king of Kings and the Lord of Lords! Kings have subjects, however we are also His Family, We are the Bride of Jesus and even more, “His Body” Glory !

No Other God: Gave Himself to be rejected and despised for the sorrows and griefs of His subjects as He also was smitten, stricken and afflicted for our emotions. Instead of nerve pills we need to take God-pills. A dose of Jesus will put nerve pills out of business. [Is. 53:3-5]

No Other God: endured being wounded for our transgressions, bruising for iniquities and be chastised for our peace. Jesus was wounded and bruised so the sinful nature of man could be forgiven, that the freedom of that sin would bring peace. [Is. 53:3-5]. There is a tremendous peace from having a God that loves us so much.

No Other God: would allow themselves to be put into a place to be beaten by a cat of nine tails forty lashes less one for the healing of their subjects. The cat of nine tails was a whip with nine leather tails on the end. And on each tail was tied a piece of glass, jagged stone or any object that would rip flesh. He was whipped thirty nine times. Each lash would rip pieces of flesh out of His back. He did that so that you and I could be healed. By His stripes we are healed” [Read Is. 53:3-5, 1 Peter 2:24].

All other gods: are designed by man, man’s imagination or self-made gods. All mankind wants a god, a god of their own making. We were created to worship the one true God and satan distorted the truth in the “Garden of Eden. Even in the church, people try to make the bible say what they want to live, instead of what the bible actually says. God is opening up the understanding of those who really seek after Him.

No Other God: Gives benefits like our God! If you don’t know Him, you may want to consider accepting Him and all He wants you to have today. You can have all the promises in the Bible. All you have to do is Give yourself totally and completely to Him. Come to Him in the Love that He has already provided for you. Just ask Him to forgive you and wash your sins away. Then invite Him into your heart. If you really mean it, He will come to you and change your life. You will never be sorry, because there is “No Other God”!
